1: The most popular myth to Aphrodite’s birth is that she was born from sea foam. Cronus severed Uranus’ genitals and threw them into the sea causing Aphrodite to rise from the foam.
2: After Aphrodite was born Zeus was afraid that the gods would fight over her Aphrodite’s hand in marriage. So to prevent that he had her marry the smith god Hephaestus, the steadiest of the gods.
